Saved From A Killer was another phenomenal story in the Snatcher Series. I liked this novel a hair less than the first novel in this series, Taken By A Killer, but the difference wasn't enough to lower my rating.The second novel in the Snatcher Series is about Jenna Daggert, the first woman to escape the Miners Bend Snatcher, and Joseph Morgan, the deputy who discovers Jenna in the woods after her escape. Jenna doesn't really remember her time with the Snatcher, but she fears what she doesn't remember. Determined not to live in fear, Jenna decides to face her fears of control, sex, and bondage head on, with none other than Joseph, her sexy savior.
Jenna was a tenacious heroine who dealt with her kidnapping with courage and determination. I really admired her for the way she handled things. Honestly, I would have been a big ol' mess if I had been in her shoes; I would not have handled things a tenth of a fraction as well as she did. I commend her for taking charge and getting back control of her life.
I fell head over heels for Joseph in this novel. He was a sexy, take charge, protective alpha male, but he was also a considerate, vulnerable, shy sweetie who couldn't deny Jenna anything. I LOVED both sides of him.
I gave Saved From A Killer (Snatcher Series #2) by Miranda Stowe 4 STARS. The Snatcher Series is a sexy, suspenseful series full of strong, well-written characters, entertaining dialogue, and hot sex! I strongly recommend this series.
SIDE NOTE: I love Ms. Stowe's writing style. She gets her point across in as little words as possible! Some authors spend pages upon pages describing unimportant things, like trees. Unless it's a non-fiction novel about vegetation, who the heck cares that much about trees? Luckily, Ms. Stowe doesn't do any of that nonsense. Her writing style is clear and concise. I never get bored while reading her novels, and I never want to just skip ahead to the dialogue. ;)
UPDATE: I've read the first four books in the Snatcher Series, and I have zero complaints. I'm pretty sure the Snatcher Series is technically classified as a companion series since each novel could be read on its own; however, I strongly recommend reading the entire series in order.

Saved from a Killer is a sizzling hot story which hides the flame behind a behind a scary thriller. The mystery and suspense of the serial killer is still there, but it takes a backseat to the relationship between Joseph and Jenna. I was enthralled by the immediate connection between hero and victim and cheered for Jenna all the way. The woman was amazingly strong and determined to wrestle her life from the clutches of one who would choose to snuff her life out. I highly recommend Saved From A Killer for an introduction to a woman we all should inspire to be and a modern knight in shining armor.

"... I liked that Ms. Stowe back-tracked just a bit into the end of book one to begin this story. While the story can be read out of order, I recommend sticking to the written order for enhanced involvement. I found Joseph's character endearing a strong male façade with sensitive and protective tendencies that quickly bond the two. Jenna was likeable as a survivor, but I found her a bit to tough to digest while dealing with the horrors of her kidnapping. I appreciated her will to overcome such a debilitating experience but would have liked to see just a bit more vulnerability...."
